Who we are
Rossvale FC is a community football club in Bishopbriggs, Glasgow, and a registered Scottish charity, number SC050687. We are the data controller for personal information collected through rossvalefc.com.

What we collect
- Contact form: your name, email address, phone number if you give it, and your message.
- Report a concern form: the details you choose to give us about a concern, which may include information about a child. You can leave your own name and contact details blank.
- Sponsorship form: your name, business name, contact details and the sponsorship you are interested in.
- Emails you send to any club address.
Player registration, subscriptions, fixtures and results are handled by My Club Hub. The club lottery is run through ClubForce and the club shop through Brand Angels. Each of those services has its own privacy notice, which applies when you use them.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and help you join, volunteer or sponsor. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the club and answering the people who contact us.
- To deal with safeguarding concerns. Protecting children and adults at risk is a legal duty and a substantial public interest under the Data Protection Act 2018, and it is the basis we rely on for these reports.
- To keep records the club needs as a charity and a Scottish FA member club, where the law or our governing body requires it.
We do not use your information for marketing unless you have asked us to keep in touch.
Who sees it
Only the club officials who need it to deal with your enquiry. Safeguarding reports go to our Child Wellbeing and Protection Officer.
Where we have to, we share safeguarding information with the Scottish FA, Police Scotland or social work services.
Our website is hosted in the UK by 20i, and club email runs on Google Workspace. They process information on our behalf and under contract. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How long we keep it
We keep general enquiries for up to 12 months, then delete them. Sponsorship records are kept for as long as the sponsorship runs and for six years afterwards for our charity accounts. Safeguarding records are kept in line with Scottish FA guidance.
Cookies
This website does not use advertising cookies, and it does not currently use analytics cookies. WordPress sets cookies only for club volunteers who log in to manage the site.
Our fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers when you visit. If we add analytics in future, we will update this page and ask for your consent first.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the information we hold about you
- correct anything that is wrong
- delete your information, where we do not need to keep it
- restrict or stop using it, or object to how we use it
Email admin@rossvalefc.com and we will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
